Agriculture: These grapes sourced from the same plot as last year in Torretta Granitola, Province of Trapani, from Azienda Agricola Gilí actually.
Vinification: Two thirds of the grapes were directly pressed into old oak barrels and remained on the gross lees. The remaining third was macerated, with stems for 5 days and pressed into fiberglass. No sulfur, no filtration. 2,500 bottles produced.
Notes:The 2024 has a more mineral perspective than the 2023. The time spent on the lees in barrels impacted this wine. Has flinty reduction at the start due to the limestone soil where the grapes were grown. Notes of urchin and seashell. Subtle but complex, sharp acidity.
