Agriculture: La Raya is made from a late, ripe selection of Verijadiego Blanco and Listán Blanco from Finca John Stone. They separated this highly concentrated and vibrant batch with the aim of understanding and demonstrating the potential of this great island terroir pushed to its limits.
Vinification: In the winery, they carried out static aging under a veil of flor for 18 months, allowing for the grapes' expressiveness and refinement. Only 600 bottles produced.
Note from the winemaker: The westernmost tip of El Hierro was for many years the end of the known world. There, at the tip of Orchilla, was the imaginary Raya of the Zero Meridian. In the 18th century, the British established the zero meridian at Greenwich, but for us, La Raya is still here.
